Sekt Brut 12% Vol.
Grape varieties: Welschriesling/Grüner Veltliner
Light lemon yellow. Subtle aromas of apple and citrus, with white flowers. On the palate, fresh, intense mousseux, the acidity is racy. The sparkling wine is dry in the Brut range. The overall impression is harmonious and balanced.
This sparkling wine lives from its freshness and its neutral basic character. As such, it can be drunk pure, but is also suitable as a mixed drink, for example with peach or strawberry puree.
Esterhazy Wein
The history of the winery begins with the construction of a castle cellar in the Eisenstadt Esterhazy Castle over 300 years ago and represents the new beginning of wine production in the entire area of today's northern Burgenland. Monsieur LeBon, a cellar master from Burgundy, planted Pinot Noir in Burgenland for the first time in 1758 and was the first to produce varietal wines.
The completion of the new winery building in Trausdorf in 2006 represents the second milestone in the history of the winery. Over 50 hectares were planted with the best vine clones and rootstocks after countless soil and site analyses. For this purpose, the best vines were selected from our oldest plants.
In the cellar, we are open-minded and experiment with wine containers such as eggs, amphorae, barrels and wooden barrels made of local Leithaberg oak. In addition to wood and stainless steel, we also use materials such as granite, concrete, ceramics and clay for the ageing of our wines. Regionally and varietally typical wines at an absolute top level in combination with a clear Esterhazy signature will continue to be our driving force in the future.
