White wine 13% Vol.
The Reipersberg consists of a subsoil of highly brittle granite with a quartz fissure filling, while the topsoil forms a layer of weathered granite (clayey sand) that is about 30-45 cm thick. No wonder that these wines have such an unmistakably mineral structure.
A wonderfully radiant yellow-green in the glass is complemented by a spicy and yellow-fruity note in the nose. On the palate, fresh, crisp apple, fine citrus notes, pronounced minerality, wonderfully vibrant on the palate, black pepper, pronounced spiciness in the finish, good length.
Pairs well with roast pork, strongly seasoned fish, mature cheese
Weingut Gruber-Röschitz
Three generations, three siblings, three united spirits: Maria, Ewald and Christian have found their common denominator in the family business in the western Weinviertel: wine.
Whether in the vineyard, in the wine cellar or in wine sales, everyone at Weingut Gruber Röschitz follows their innermost calling.
Wonderfully taut Grüner Veltliners, juicy Rieslings and finely nuanced St. Laurent and Pinot Noirs thrive in a biologically-organically managed microcosm in Röschitz, Lower Austria.
This includes granite, loess and clay soils as well as an airy, cool climate, which in turn brings unique freshness and minerality with fruit to the palate. The harmoniously flowing family dynamics, which combine old knowledge and new spirit, give the wines an unmistakably harmonious character.
