Caviar from the Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii), from Italian aquaculture.
Oscietra Royal is a caviar that is obtained from the Russian sturgeon, a species originally native to the Caspian Sea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
These medium-sized sturgeons can weigh between 20 and 60 kg (44 to 132 lbs). Only the largest eggs are selected for this elegant caviar, which has a subtle fruity and nutty flavour and a dark brown to beige colour. It is considered one of the most remarkable caviars and can also be enjoyed pure.
Recommended combination: high-quality vintage champagnes and silky sparkling wines.
The harvest time for this caviar is about 10 to 11 years.

Colour: dark brown with warm amber tones

About the producer:
Calvisano is a typical small town in the middle of the Po Valley in the province of Brescia, an area rich in fresh spring water. The name comes from the Latin Calvisius, an ancient Roman nobleman and great gourmet.
The unique properties of the pure water in this area are the basis for the excellent ecosystem for sturgeon, which gives Calvisius caviar its authenticity and freshness and makes it one of the most exquisite delicacies in world cuisine.
