The famous secret recipe, the copper still, the distillation process itself, and the dedication of Isidoros Arvanitis, led to the creation of the extremely smooth Greek Ouzo in the small town of Plomari on the island of Lesbos in 1894.
Many years later, this fine, full flavour, which harmoniously combines the well-known distillation type and method with the modern way of life, is still captured and bottled in an old-fashioned bottle with a characteristic cork stopper.
This rare, fine, yet rich and unmistakable taste of Isidor Arvanitis Ouzo from Plomari has shaped Greek food culture for over 100 years and is an excellent accompaniment to culinary delicacies from the Greek sea.
Serving suggestion:
As an aperitif with cold water or ice - or even neat at room temperature. Also a treat as a long drink with ice cubes and fresh orange juice
