Organic Orto Datterini Tomatoes in Water

 

The Datterino tomato from BioOrto is grown in the Gargano region on the east coast of Italy. This variety has a particularly high Brix content, which gives it a pleasantly sweet taste. In addition, the datterino is rich in mineral salts, vitamin A and vitamin C.

 

Datterini have a delicate and sweet taste and are therefore ideal for preparing antipasti and bruscetta. They also add that special zing to light sauces and fish dishes.

The company BioOrto was founded in 2003 by Nino Passalacqua and is still family-owned. At the foot of the Gargano National Park on the east coast of Italy, the company practices organic farming on a large scale.
