Bepanthen Sensiderm Cream

Red, swollen and itchy skin can have various causes, such as dry skin, neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis/eczema), allergic skin reactions and various other skin irritations. One of the most important tasks of the skin is to prevent the penetration of harmful substances from outside and to keep moisture in the body ("skin protection barrier"). Skin irritations can destroy parts of the protective skin barrier. The protective function is lost. The scratching triggered by the itching damages the skin even further. Ingredients

Bepanthen® ointment and Bepanthen® cream both contain the active ingredient dexpanthenol. Dexpanthenol is a vitamin precursor and is involved in many metabolic processes in the body. It is essential for building healthy skin, which is why it is also called the "skin vitamin". Dexpanthenol is an active ingredient that supports wound healing. It supports the build-up and regeneration of skin cells from the inside and thus promotes the formation of new skin tissue. This way the wound heals faster. Bepanthen® Wound and Healing Ointment is free from colourings, fragrances and preservatives. Bepanthen® Cream is free from colourings and fragrances.
