The active ingredient dexpanthenol is rapidly converted in the cells into pantothenic acid, which is a vitamin of the B-complex. Pantothenic acid is indispensable for the development and regeneration of skin and mucous membranes.

The active ingredient chlorhexidine digluconate solution is a well-known and well-tolerated disinfectant. It kills the bacteria that are mainly responsible for skin infections.

Bepanthen Plus Spray is used to treat superficial wounds of all kinds when there is a risk of infection: e.g. abrasions, cuts, scratches and skin burns.

What should you pay attention to before taking it?

What you must consider before using BEPANTHEN PLUS SPRAY.Bepanthen Plus Spray must not be used - if you are allergic to dexpanthenol, chlorhexidine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6. other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6- if the eardrum is damaged, you must not use Bepanthen Plus Spray in the earWarnings and Precautions Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Bepanthen Plus Cream

Bepanthen Plus Spray should not be used on deep wounds, lower leg ulcers (leg ulcers) and under impermeable dressings.

Avoid Bepanthen Plus Spray coming into contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.

If your symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult a doctor.

Bepanthen Plus Spray should not be used on infants as irritation of the respiratory tract may occur after accidental inhalation.

Bepanthen Plus Spray should not be used for the treatment of skin irritation that is not specifically susceptible to infection (e.g. sunburn); in these cases, the use of Bepanthen cream is recommended.

Use of Bepanthen Plus Spray with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used or intend to use any other medicines.

Bepanthen Plus Spray must not be used at the same time as other disinfectants as well as soaps.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Bepanthen Plus Spray should not be used on large areas during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding women should not apply Bepanthen Plus Spray to the breast area or to large areas.

Driving and ability to operate machinery

Bepanthen Plus Spray has no effect on driving and ability to operate machinery.

How should the medicine be taken?

HOW TO USE BEPANTHEN PLUS SPRAY?

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Bepanthen Plus Spray can be applied to the cleaned wound or inflamed skin area one to several times a day as needed. The duration of use depends on the type and course of the disease and, according to experience, is approx. 1 -2 weeks. Avoid application to large areas of skin.

Use in children and adolescents:
Due to the administration form as a spray, the use in infants is not recommended.

Before using for the first time, the spray head must be actuated a few times before the solution can be sprayed.
If you have any further questions on the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What are the possible side effects?

Do not store above 25°C.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

After opening the bottle, Bepanthen Plus Spray can be used for 12 months.

5. HOW TO STORE BEPANTHEN PLUS SPRAY?

What Bepanthen Plus Spray contains

- The active ingredients are: 1 ml Bepanthen Plus Spray contains as active ingredients 50 mg (=5%) Dexpanthenol and Chlorhexidine digluconate solution 20% corresponding to 5 mg (=0.5%) chlorhexidine digluconate.
- The other ingredients are: DL-pantolactone, macrogol lauryl ether, ethanol and purified water.

What Bepanthen Plus Spray looks like and contents of the pack

This medicine is a spray for application to the skin.
The packaging consists of an HDPE bottle with spray pump and protective cap, content 30 ml.
