Application

Adults & adolescents from 12 years and children from 6 to 12 years: Usually 5 drops 3 times daily. In case of very severe symptoms, 5 drops every half hour to every hour, but not more than 12 times a day for max. 3 days. When the symptoms subside, the frequency of intake should be reduced again. Children from 2 to 6 years: usually 2-3 drops 3 times a day. In case of very severe symptoms, 2-3 drops every half hour to every hour, but not more than 8 times a day for max. 3 days. What is Meditonsin and what is it used for?

Meditonsin is a homeopathic medicine.
Homeopathy is understood to be a regulatory therapy.

The indications for use are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.

The following indications are approved for this medicinal product:

Meditonsin is a homeopathic combination remedy composed of different homeopathic single remedies whose drug pictures complement each other.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the above-mentioned indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated.

This medicine is used in children from 2 years of age, adolescents and adults.

When using homeopathic medicines, so-called first reactions may occur. Such reactions generally subside quickly on their own.

As a matter of principle, prolonged treatment with a homeopathic remedy should be supervised by a doctor experienced in homeopathy.

The homeopathic treatment of acute complaints of the throat, nose and
nasopharynx, emerging colds and flu-like infections, should be carried out by a
homeopathic doctor in unclear and serious cases, as well as in the case of a prolonged course of illness.

Children
The use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to take Meditonsin?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents from 12 years and children from 6 to 12 years:
usually 5 drops 3 times a day.
In very severe cases, 5 drops every half hour to every hour, but not more than 12 times a day for a maximum of 3 days.

Children from 2 to 6 years:
usually 2-3 drops 3 times a day.
In very severe complaints, 2-3 drops every half hour to every hour, but not more than 8 times a day for max. 3 days.
When the symptoms subside, the frequency of use should be reduced again.

Children under 2 years of age:
This medicine is not intended for use in children up to 2 years of age (see section 2).

Method of administration:

For oral use

The drops are to be taken undiluted and left in the mouth for some time.
The intake is independent of meals.

With homeopathic medicines, the efficacy is not so much linked to the size of the dose, but rather to the frequency of dose repetition when the clinical picture and the drug picture correspond. Meditonsin should be taken as early as possible - "at the first scratchy throat".

When the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.

Duration of use:

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, Meditonsin should not be taken for longer than 1 week.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Use in children
Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.

If you have taken a larger amount of Meditonsin than you should
In case of extreme overdose (more than one original 70 g pack) - especially in children

What are the possible side effects?

How to store Meditonsin?

No special storage conditions are required for the unopened medicinal product with regard to temperature.
Do not store above 25°C after opening.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and container after "EXP:". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

Shelf life after opening:
6 months

Do not dispose of medicinal products in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you are no longer using it.
