Defendyl Imunoglukan P4H® Syrup

Vitamin C and zinc contribute to normal immune system function and protection of cells from oxidative stress. 

At the same time, vitamin C also helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Since the body's susceptibility to infections is higher when tired and fatigued, it is recommended to take vitamin C as a preventive measure as well as in case of infections.

Vitamin C also has numerous other functions in the body. It contributes to normal collagen formation for normal function of cartilage, skin, bones, teeth, gums and blood vessels. Vitamin C also contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and normal mental function. Vitamin C also increases iron absorption and contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E.

Since the human organism is not able to synthesise vitamin C itself, it must take it in through food. Deficiency of this vitamin can lead to scurvy disease, which manifests itself in bleeding gums, tooth loss, softening of bones and slowed formation of red blood cells.

Capsules are also enriched with zinc, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress.

Imunoglukan® is a natural bioactive polysaccharide.

Bioactive polysaccharides are widely used in human medicine worldwide. They are obtained from the cell walls of fungi, moulds and hulls of cereal grains. Imunoglukan® is an insoluble polysaccharide (β-(1,3/1,6)-D-glucan) isolated from Pleurotus ostreatus.

The combination with Vitamin C and Zinc enhances the unique effect of Imunoglukan even more.

Application

Defendyl Syrup can be taken:

Preventive use if you know your child is in a high-risk environment, such as daycare, collective of peers, or if they are sick more often. In this case, it is good to administer the syrup on a long-term basis, i.e. at least 2 - 3 months, 1 x daily in the ratio - 1 ml of syrup per 5 kg of the child's body weight.    

In case of increased need the daily dose of the preparation can be increased to 2 ml per 5 kg body weight over a period of at least 3 days. Afterwards, we recommend continuing with the preventive dose.

The syrup is most effective if you take it in the evening before going to bed or in the morning on an empty stomach.

The syrup is especially suitable for children or adults who prefer a syrup form.

The Defendyl syrup should only be used in children between 1 and 3 years of age after consultation with a doctor.

Defendyl is completely safe and suitable for the whole family. It is also sugar-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Ingredients

1 ml syrup contains: Imunoglucan 10 mg Vitamin C 10 mg
