Due to its composition, Insecticum Gel quickly develops an analgesic, antipruritic, cooling and decongestant effect.

Application

1. WHAT IS INSECTICUM GEL AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Insecticum Gel quickly develops a pain-relieving, anti-pruritic, cooling and decongestant effect due to its composition. The alcohol-containing, fat-free gel base also has a disinfecting effect.

The local anaesthetic benzocaine inhibits the excitability of the sensitive nerve fibres. This results in rapid pain and itch relief of the affected skin areas.
Diphenhydramine is a proven histamine inhibitor and has an anti-allergic effect against hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. It quickly eliminates itching and also counteracts swelling and redness.

The combination of the two active ingredients benzocaine and diphenhydramine increases their pain and itch-relieving effect.

L-menthol creates a refreshing cold sensation on the skin, which helps to relieve the discomfort.
Application:
For pain, itching, swelling and redness after insect bites (such as mosquitoes, gnats, horseflies, bees, wasps and hornets). After contact with nettles.
