Zintona is a herbal medicine for nausea.

What is ZINTONA® AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Zintona is an anti-nausea medicine.
Application: Prevention of the symptoms of motion sickness (kinetosis) such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
Symptomatic treatment of mild forms of vomiting and nausea in
early pregnancy (up to the 16th week of pregnancy).

This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and over.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 2-3 days, consult your doctor.

Zintona must not be taken,

Warnings and precautions

if you have gallstones. In this case, Zintona should only be taken after medical consultation.
Children
As there is insufficient data, its use in children under 6 years of age cannot be recommended.
Taking Zintona with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, or if you are going to take or use any other medicines.
Caution is advised if you are taking medicines to thin the blood at the same time.Interactions with other medicines are not known.
Taking Zintona with food and alcohol

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Use in early pregnancy up to the 16th week of pregnancy is possible.
Use during breast-feeding cannot be recommended as there are insufficient data.
Driving and operating machinery
No studies have been conducted on the effects on driving and the ability to operate machinery.
How should the medicine be taken?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
The recommended dose is:
Travelling sickness:
For adults and children over 6 years: take 2 capsules unchewed with liquid ½ hour before starting travel, then 2 capsules every 4 hours. Maximum daily dose: 6 capsules
Pregnancy vomiting and nausea in pregnancy:
Take 2 capsules unchewed with liquid in the morning, in case of recurring complaints another 2 capsules can be taken.
Maximum daily dose: 4 capsules

If you have taken a larger amount of Zintona than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported. You may experience more of the side effects listed below.

Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

Store in the original packaging to protect the contents from light.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after
"use by". The expiry date refers

You must not use this medicine if you notice: unusual
discolouration of the capsules.
Do not dispose of medicines in waste water. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.
