Shrimp
The Alnatura Origin shrimp come from selected organic aquaculture farms on the west coast of Costa Rica. A maximum of 22 shrimps per m2 live there in near-natural ponds whose banks are overgrown with plants and provide a habitat for many animal species. 15 cents per pack sold will be donated to the Alnatura Mangrove Initiative to rebuild mangrove forests - the natural breeding ground and nursery of shrimps.

Zubereitungsempfehlung: Vorbereitung: Die tiefgefrorenen Garnelen in einem Sieb unter kaltem Wasser kurz abspülen, bei Zimmertemperatur 1-2 Stunden auftauen lassen. Anschließend die Garnelen trocken tupfen. Zubereitung in der Pfanne: Die vorbereiteten Garnelen bei mittlerer Temperatur ca. 4 Minuten braten. Zubereitung in Suppen und Eintöpfen: Die vorbereiteten Garnelen kurz vor Ende der Garzeit ca. 1 Minute mitkochen lassen.
