Aeroxon Food Moth Trap

Odourless glue trap with sex attractant (pheromone) for catching dried fruit moths. These moths can occur in nuts, muesli, biscuits, chocolate, flour, spices, dry pet food and other dry foods.

Mode of action
The trapping effect is achieved by the sex attractant (pheromone) of the female moth incorporated into the glue. Male moths are attracted and trapped on the glue surface. This interrupts the moths' reproductive cycle and significantly reduces re-infestation of food. The Aeroxon Food Moth Trap is completely odourless and easy to use.

Instructions for use
Use biocides carefully. Always read the label and product information before use.

Cut open the bag (contents 2 traps) at the top and remove one of the two traps. Note the change date on the trap (after 6 weeks). The second trap can remain in the opened bag without reducing its shelf life (the glue surface with attractant is securely protected by the white silicone paper). 

1. Remove the red foil strip from the back of the trap.

2. Stick the trap to the inside of a cupboard and then rub firmly over the trap several times with your hand. Use one trap per cupboard. Larger rooms should be equipped with two traps.

3. Pull off the white protective paper quickly and with a jerk. The trap is now activated and releases the pheromone continuously for 6 weeks.

4. Check the trap weekly and replace it after approx. 6 weeks or when the trapping surface is completely covered with moths. Even if no more moths are visible, it is advisable to continue using food moth traps to detect a possible re-infestation at an early stage.

Disposal: The traps can be disposed of with household waste. The folding box should be recycled.
