This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use for the above-mentioned indications.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 - 4 days, consult your doctor.
What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What should you be aware of before using doc arnica ointment?
doc arnica ointment must not be used
- If you are allergic to arnica or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product listed in section 6 .
- Cross-reactions with other members of the daisy family (e.g. tansy, yarrow, chrysanthemum, motherwort and sunflower) are possible .
- doc Arnica Ointment must not be applied to previously damaged skin, open wounds or mucous membranes .
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using doc arnica ointment, especially in case of new joint complaints, especially if swelling, redness, overheating or fever are present at the same time.
Avoid contact with the eyes and for this reason wash your hands after use.
Children
The use of doc arnica ointment in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
Use doc Arnica ointment with other medicines.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used or intend to use any other medicines.
No interactions are known.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Since there is insufficient experience, the use of doc arnica ointment is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving ability and ability to operate machinery.
No studies have been carried out on the effects on the ability to drive and operate machinery.
doc Arnica Ointment contains cetyl stearyl alcohol and glycerol monostearate.
Cetyl stearyl alcohol and glycerol monostearate may cause local skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).
How should the medicine be taken?

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
Use doc arnica ointment as needed 2 to 3 times daily.
Type of application
For use on the skin.
Apply the ointment to the area to be treated and massage in gently.
Duration of use
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 - 4 days, consult your doctor.
Use in children
The use of doc Arnica ointment in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
If you have used a larger amount of doc Arnica Ointment than you should

Do not use twice the amount if you have forgotten to use it before.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the container. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.
Burns for 3 months after first opening.
Do not dispose of the medicine in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

What doc arnica ointment contains
- The active ingredient is: 100 g contain 21.5 g tincture of Arnica flos (tincture of arnica, drug-extract ratio [DEV] 1:10, extracting agent ethanol 70 % [V/V]).
- The other ingredients are:
Cleansed water, emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol (type A), cetylstearyl alcohol, medium chain triglycerides, octyldodecanol, glycerol monostearate 40-55, dimethicone, trometamol, carbomer, rosemary oil, zinc oxide, alpha-tocopherol, chlorophyll and chlorophyllin copper complex (E141).
Pale green ointment with an aromatic odour.
Ointment of 100 g in an aluminium folded tube.
